The Blackdown Hills Steel Bands form part of the Blackdown Hills Music Group, a non profit making company which looks after the finances and other administrative aspects of running our various music making activities. We are based in Churchinford, Somerset.
The fees we charge for performing go directly to meet our expenses. The musicians make no personal gain from playing.
The Music Group is very grateful to the Blackdown Hills Beer & Music Festival, a fantastic annual event which raised money to support music making activities in the Blackdown Hills. The Festival has made very generous grants to the Music Group.
